What to expect
Campers move through stations with a group of their peers. We will provide a snack each morning and all participants are asked to bring a nut-free lunch each day.
Our camp programming runs 9am-3:30pm, with an optional movie time 3:30-5pm for those needing additional later care as we wind down from the day! Our program is help in the Classrooms, Fellowship Hall, Lawn, Parking Lot, and Sanctuary of First United Church of Christ in Milford.
Each day, campers get to explore and learn on this ‘Kidventure’ through science experiments, craft projects, games, music, service projects, Bible stories, and more! You do not have to attend First UCC Milford to be part of this camp, and we invite you to reach out to Kelsey DeCarlo, our Minister of Faith Formation, with any questions you might have about the content of the program.
Cost
The cost for our full-day program is $100 per week for K-5th grade and $30 for 6-8th grade. This is to cover supplies, snacks, and a small stipend for our high school and college full day volunteers.
The majority of our program is run thanks to hard-working volunteers! We have a few paid staff members who coordinate the program, including our Minister of Faith Formation. Due to our limitations, we do not have the ability to offer one to one support for campers. Payment can be made through the First Church webpage. The link for payment will be sent out following registration to all participants.
